The Role

As a Legal Assistant of an International law firm, you will report to the Regional Director of Operations. Duties will include:

• Typing and editing documents
• Handle phone, email, and client enquiries; maintain client contacts.
• Manage diaries, incoming/outgoing mail, and travel bookings.
• Assist with monthly billing and invoice preparation.
• Open/close matter files, conduct conflicts checks, and maintain filing systems.
• Prepare, edit, and manage documents, including court documents and briefs.
• Perform general admin duties: dictation, copying, scanning, faxing, and time entry.
• Reception relief daily

Your Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a secretary. Law firm experience is not essential.

International Law Firm based in the Brisbane CBD. 34 staff and growing. Offer employee benefits such as 50% off gym memberships, weekly drinks. Good culture. Salary negotiable, dependent upon experience ($70,000 to $80,000 package, including Superannuation).
