About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing accounts payable and receivable in Xero
Processing invoices, purchase orders, and bank reconciliations
Tracking job costs, labour, and materials through Simpro
Preparing BAS reports, payroll journals, and supplier statements
Assisting with budgeting, reporting, and cashflow management
Handling general office administration and document control
Communicating with clients, suppliers, and field teams
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with management and operations to keep everything running smoothly.
About You
You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a busy but supportive team environment.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration
Strong Xero skills (essential)
Experience with Simpro (preferred but not required)
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Intermediate Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
Clear communication and a can-do attitude
Experience in plumbing, construction, or trades industries will be highly regarded.

We’re seeking an experienced Accounts / Bookkeeping / Admin Officer to join our team on a contract basis to cover maternity leave. There’s strong potential for ongoing opportunities within the business as we continue to grow.
