Accounts Receivable / Admin Support
Permanent Part-Time Position – Up to 32hrs/week, on site in Brendale
The Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Accounts Receivable / Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role that supports finance, sales, client care and administration processes. You’ll be detail-oriented but also flexible, happy to work with your team, pick up the phone when needed, and help wherever required. This is office based however may be an opportunity to work from home one day per week in the future.

We are a medium-sized, family-run company in Brendale QLD, proudly supporting funeral professionals across Australia. We supply a wide range of products to cemeteries, crematoria, memorial parks, funeral homes, and monumental masons, including cremation urns and jewellery, aluminum plaques, grief resources, and coffin hardware. It is important to us that our employees embody the ethos of our business — bringing exceptional customer service, a bright demeanour, and respect for the work of the funeral professionals we support.
What You’ll Do:
End to end Accounts Receivable. Generate, send, and follow up on invoices, statements, and credits including obtaining and applying PO's
Bank feeds and requesting remittances where required
Processing freight account and lodging queries for charges
Support the Client Care team where required
Assist with reconciliations and month-end financial tasks
Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, stationary orders and answering calls
Help your team wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in accounts receivable and administration
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A proactive, reliable team player who is happy to help colleagues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using Xero, Excel, and general office software
Ability to adapt and go with the flow in a busy office environment
