We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer / Administrator to join our dedicated and supportive team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team, with responsibilities spanning Accounts Payable & Receivable and General Office Administration. This role requires strong financial skills, particularly in preparing and maintaining key financial reports like Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets, while also supporting the day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Reconcile bank, credit card, and supplier statements
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow reports
Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes
Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting software
🔹 Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process supplier invoices and manage payment schedules
Raise customer invoices and follow up on outstanding debts
Monitor A/P and A/R aging reports and resolve discrepancies
Manage petty cash, reimbursements, and staff expenses
🔹 General Administration, in conjunction with others
Provide general office and administrative support
Answer / direct incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate document management
Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and administration roles
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equitant or higher qualification in accounting or related field) or proven ability through experience
Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively
