Project Manager – Electrical Contracting | Government Infrastructure Sector | $150-$180k + Super | Full-Time | Rockingham, WA
Join a growing electrical contracting business based in Rockingham, WA. We deliver high-quality electrical solutions across the government infrastructure sector and we're looking for a skilled Project Manager to take ownership of project delivery, client management and team leadership.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of electrical projects in the government infrastructure sector. This full-time position is based in our Rockingham office, with regular interaction with both office and site-based teams.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from planning through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets and safety standards are met.
As the Project Manager, you will provide leadership and direction through the coordination and prioritisation of resources and activities to ensure the safe and successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. This includes ensuring appropriate controls are in place and providing key insights through the development, collation, and analysis of cost and schedule information—enabling effective and timely decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Leadership
Plan, lead, and manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring high performance across multiple projects.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure project quality meets client and statutory requirements. Actively manage HSE risks, report incidents, and contribute to safety improvements.
Financial & Resource Management
Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, track financial performance, and efficiently allocate labour, materials, and resources.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage expectations, and support business development through proposals and tenders.
Planning & Coordination
Oversee project scheduling, procurement, and progress tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Team Leadership & Continual Improvement
Supervise and mentor junior staff, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
