Our client is an established owner operated Project Management consultancy who works closely with an impressive list of highly respected operators, mostly across the Retail and Industrial sectors. They have the trust of repeat clients that gives them a secure pipeline of projects across various disciplines.

Due to ongoing growth, they require a Project Manager to join their team. You will work closely with the Director on a range of projects as the client’s representative.

The Role

• End-to-end project management including planning, procurement, design coordination, construction oversight, and delivery.
• Manage client relationships and lead stakeholder engagement activities.
• Monitor and report on program status, identifying potential delays and mitigation strategies.
• Manage contract administration, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met with a high standard of quality and compliance.
• Monitor project quality, risk and compliance which includes developing project plans, risk and issue registers, and compliance reporting.

Ideal Candidate

• Tertiary/TAFE qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture or Property Development (or similar) ideal but not essential.
• Current Australian “A”, “C” or “C-A” class Driver’s Licence.
• Minimum of 3-4 years practical experience as a project manager (preferably) client-side delivering projects within the property and construction industry (or similar).
• Ideally will have managed small to medium-scale projects between $2M-$50M.
• Experience in the retail (supermarkets or big box) and industrial sectors ideal but not essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project lifecycle, procurement and contract management.
• Good understanding of contract, risk and financial management skills.
• Strong software competency in MS suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities and the ability to work autonomously.
