About the role

As a Commercial Project Manager at H&M Tracey Construction Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex commercial construction projects in Broome and throughout the Kimberley, WA. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the company's strategic objectives are met through the effective management of scope, budget, timeline and quality of assigned projects. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success.

What you'll be doing

Developing and managing comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget and resource allocation

Monitoring project progress and identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects on track

Coordinating and leading project team meetings to ensure clear communication and collaboration

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address issues and changes

Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant building codes, safety regulations and quality standards

Providing regular progress updates and reports to senior management

Mentoring and supporting more junior project management staff

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Project Manager, in the construction industry (Kimberley region experience desirable)

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion

Excellent project management skills, including budget management, scheduling, resource allocation and risk mitigation

Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors and internal teams

Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and project management methodologies

Proficient with project management software and tools

Proficiency in Procore project management software is required or alike

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering

Can be based in Wangara Office or Broome office. Relocation to Broome assistance available.
