The Opportunity:

The Project Manager will report to the GM of Avid EPG Group and manage a variety of projects, overseeing planning and coordination of teams from project winning through completion.

You will be responsible for managing several moving parts simultaneously as well as guiding your project team to deliver on time and in accordance with safety requirements and within budget constraints.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Oversee the full scope of the project and ensure all stakeholders are across their relevant areas

· Manage any variations to the project and ensure all involved are across the requirements

· Be the main client interface for the project

· Coordinating staff, internal resources and external contractors

· Quality control for work undertaken

· Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation

· Manage internal documentation requirements to ensure relevant work packs

· Run project progress meetings and provide reports to management

· Manage any safety issues within the project and communicate safety matters with other areas of the business.

Key requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical background ideally

· Previous experience with switch rooms, kiosk substations and switchboards or similar, is an advantage

· Previous experience managing projects worth $5M+

· Extensive knowledge of HSE requirements

· Leadership skills required to manage and develop a team

· Organisational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track

· Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment

· Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience.
