A great part-time opportunity exists for a dynamic and professional individual to join the Shire of Brookton as the Community Development Officer.
Reporting to the Manager Corporate & Community, this role requires a passionate and dedicated person to play an essential role in influencing the way Council operates within and for the Brookton community. The Shire seeks to do this by facilitating and liaising with the community to find opportunities for the community to be empowered, connected and active within the Shire of Brookton.
To be considered, you will likely need experience in an administrative role, great computer and IT skills and an enthusiastic approach to community with excellent communication skills.
In return the Shire is offering a remuneration package including:
· Permanent Part time based on 6 days/48 hours per fortnight. The final roster will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
· Hourly wage between $39.2296 to $41.8471
· Superannuation of up to 15.5%
· 4 weeks pro-rata annual leave per annum with leave loading
· 2 additional Local Government Recreation (LGR) leave days per annum on a pro-rata basis that must be taken during the Council approved Shire closure period between Christmas and New Year.
