About Us
BLCAC is the Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) representing the Bunurong people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation. We advocate for cultural heritage, land management, and community empowerment. About the Role
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support, coordinate meetings and events, assist with finance and payroll tasks, and help deliver cultural projects. You will work closely with the Cultural Landscape Coordinator and team, while also learning about Bunurong Cultural Values Assessments and contributing to meaningful community initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to support our Cultural Values & Research Unit with day-to-day operations, events, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage diaries, meeting bookings, travel, and correspondence.
Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations.
Assist with invoicing, budget tracking, and payroll administration.
Liaise with stakeholders and support community engagement activities.
Organise logistics for events, workshops, and cultural activities.
Ensure procedural compliance, confidentiality, and continuous improvement in administrative systems and templates.
What You Bring
Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, humanities, business administration) or equivalent experience Proven administrative support and/or project coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, history, and culture.
Current WWCC, Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
VIC Driver Licence.
