About the Role
Mansfield Family Practice is seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy general practice. This part-time role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients professionally and warmly

Manage appointments and support smooth patient flow

Respond to enquiries and explain practice procedures

Maintain accurate patient records (electronic and paper)

Assist with data entry, filing, and stock management

Liaise with clinicians and external providers

Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

Key Requirements

Previous experience in a medical practice is essential, with proficiency in Best Practice software or similar highly regarded

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure

Medicare billing & claiming experience

Familiarity with medical terminology and Microsoft Office

High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality

Must have valid Australian work rights

Available for immediate start
