About the role

Redlands General Practice, a leading healthcare provider in Ormiston, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team on a casual basis. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice, providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

Patient/Workcover/third-party billing

Scheduling consultations, procedures and health assessments

Answering patient phone calls incl. basic triage

General clinic opening and closing duties

Ensuring all interactions are professional and courteous

Managing correspondence inside & outside the practice

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Proficiency in using Patient Management Systems (Best Practice or similar) and office software

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
