About the role
The Principal Project Officer initiates, plans, and leads complex collaborative projects relating to the reintegration and rehabilitation of offenders, particularly focussing on contemporary practices in offending behaviour programs, assessments, case management and other emerging initiatives.
These include, but are not limited to:
Implementing contemporary and evidence-based treatment programs that are responsive to the needs of the WA offender cohort;
Sustaining and strengthening the suite of valid risk assessment and screening tools used by clinical services;
Identifying emerging issues and trends in rehabilitation practice; and
Responding to the outcomes and recommendation of reviews and evaluation of clinical services.
As a member of the Clinical Governance & Innovation management team the Principal Project Officer plays a key role in providing strategic guidance across Rehabilitation & Reintegration practice and acts as a positive change agent to drive continuous improvement.
