Business Development Manager - Automotive Software Solutions

Location: VIC (with local travel)
Full-time | 38 hrs/week | Flexible hours

About the Role

We're looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across a portfolio of cutting-edge automotive software and digital tools. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, sales, and the automotive sector.

You'll be working across a suite of market-leading solutions including CRM, customer communication, digital document handling, online marketplaces, and registration tools. Your mission: grow product adoption, win new business, and help dealerships operate smarter and more profitably.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and hit sales targets (capital, recurring, and unit-based)
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with dealerships and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to expand product use across existing accounts
  • Deliver high-impact proposals and ROI-based product presentations
  • Stay sharp on industry trends, compliance, and customer pain points
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Delivery) to ensure client success
  • Keep systems updated and reporting accurate

Experience required

  • Experience in B2B sales or account management (ideally in software or automotive)
  • Proven track record hitting and exceeding targets
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence with MS Office (especially Excel)
  • A current driver's licence and your own vehicle

Advantageous

  • Background in automotive dealerships or OEMs
  • Familiarity with CRM, digital marketing tools, or dealer management systems
