About the role

As a Sales Manager at Gideon Services, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and build strong, lasting relationships with our valued customers. This full-time role is based in our Carrum Downs office and offers excellent opportunities for career development within a small and supportive organisation.

What you'll be doing

Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets

Manage the end-to-end sales process, including accurate and timely order processing

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders

Delivering results through a mix of emails, phone calls and face-to-face visits (interstate travel)

Identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer accounts

Regular forecasting with customers, ensuring customer demand is accurately captured and communicated with our supply chain team

Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to support the overall business objectives

Staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs

Preparation of sales budget for review with GM (monthly)

Ad-hoc tasks supporting Director and GM

What we're looking for

Commercially savvy with a proven track record of success in a sales/ account management (minimum of 3 years), preferably within the FMCG industry

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

Small business team mindset – flexible and proactive in stepping beyond defined responsibilities to support the team when needed

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth

Microsoft Excel proficiency - intermediate level requirement
