About the role
Focused on Care is seeking an Operations Manager - SIL to join our team in this new role. This full-time role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our Supported Independent Living services. You will lead a team of Service Managers and House Managers who collectively manage 17 SIL homes. Additionally, you will work closely with the Director and the broader Senior Leadership team to drive operational excellence and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Supported Independant Living Homes

Manage a team of 3 passionate and dedicated Service Managers providing leadership, support and guidance

Support the onboarding of new SIL homes to ensure their delivery is in line with our internal processes and procedures

Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, legislation and internal policies

Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and address operational challenges

Analyse data and metrics to drive continuous improvement across our services

Ensuring supports are delivered in line with client budgets and report on individual profit and loss statements for each home

Foster a positive, client-centric culture and champion the organisation's values

You will work from our modern, Toowoomba office however regular travel to our Warwick and Brisbane sites will be required

What we're looking for

Substantial experience (5+ years) in a senior operations or management role within the disability industry

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving service delivery

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a solutions-focused mindset

Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements in the aged care and disability support industries

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Preferred tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as health services management or business administration
