About the Role

Irena Care is seeking a driven and connected Regional Manager to lead our NDIS expansion across Townsville and North Queensland. This is a unique opportunity to start as a contractor and transition into a full-time leadership role after 3 months, based on performance.

You’ll take ownership of regional growth, compliance, intake, operations, and stakeholder relationships—while earning strong bonuses and commission for results.

Your Core Responsibilities

Growth & Stakeholder Engagement

Drive participant referrals and service expansion across Townsville and surrounds

Build partnerships with LACs, hospitals, PHNs, aged care, and allied health

Represent Irena Care at expos, referral events, and local networks

Operations & Intake

Oversee day-to-day regional operations, ensuring quality and compliance

Manage end-to-end participant intake and onboarding

Ensure documentation, CRM entry, and service setup align with NDIS standards

Team & Financial Management

Recruit and supervise local staff and support workers

Monitor budgets, local expenditure, and financial performance

Ensure rosters, caseloads, and staff capacity meet participant needs

About You

You're a proactive, community-connected leader who’s ready to own your success and make an impact.

You have:

3+ years in NDIS, community health, disability, or service leadership

Strong knowledge of NDIS systems, compliance, and service delivery

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with an existing local network

Experience managing staff, recruitment, and regional operations

QLD Driver’s Licence + own vehicle (fuel card provided)

NDIS Worker Screening + Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
