The Role

Are you a highly organised, proactive professional with a passion for supporting leadership and making a meaningful impact in an educational environment? St Andrews Lutheran College is seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to the Principal to join our vibrant team.

This is a pivotal role providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Principal, Executive Team, and College Council. You will manage the Principal’s calendar, coordinate major projects and events, and ensure the smooth operation of the Principal’s Office. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and lead with initiative will be key to your success.

Selection Criteria

Please respond to the following criteria in your application, providing specific examples of your experience and achievements:

Demonstrated experience in providing high-level executive support, including diary management, correspondence, and stakeholder liaison in a complex organisational environment.

Proven ability to coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, managing logistics, and ensuring follow-up on action items.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Experience in leading or supporting administrative teams, including implementing office procedures, managing resources, and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365, including advanced use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote for communication, scheduling, collaboration, and document management. Experience with Microsoft Forms, Planner, and Power Automate is advantageous. Familiarity with school systems such as TASS (or similar) is highly desirable.

Relevant qualifications and professional development, such as a Certificate IV in Business or equivalent, and evidence of ongoing learning and growth.

Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College, with the ability to support its mission and contribute positively to its community life.
