Full-Time Practice & Business Manager – GP Clinic (Brisbane Northside)

We are a busy, doctor-owned GP clinic on Brisbane’s northside, seeking a full-time Practice & Business Manager to lead our established team and support the next phase of our growth. Our clinic is known for delivering up-to-date, compassionate, and comprehensive care to the local community. We currently support 12 GPs, 5 nurses, and 5 reception staff, with supportive owners who also work within the practice.

About the Role:
This is a multifaceted leadership role combining day-to-day operations management with broader business development responsibilities. We’re looking for someone who can ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinic while identifying and driving opportunities for growth — including digital engagement and potential expansion to additional locations.

You’ll manage clinical and administrative teams, oversee systems and compliance, and play a key role in improving patient experience and practice performance. You'll also be responsible for managing our website, social media presence, and external communications, ensuring our brand and services remain relevant and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy multidisciplinary general practice

Lead and support a team of doctors, nurses, and reception staff

Drive service improvement and innovation in patient care delivery

Manage HR functions including recruitment, training, and team development

Oversee financial operations including budgeting, billing, and reporting

Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements

Manage and grow the clinic’s online presence (website, social media, communications)

Work closely with owners on strategic planning and business development

Explore and help implement future opportunities for practice expansion and diversification

About You:

Proven experience managing in a general practice or healthcare setting

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Business acumen with an interest in innovation, growth, and systems development

Comfortable working across clinical, administrative, financial, and digital areas

Experience with digital marketing or online content management is highly desirable

A genuine commitment to improving patient care and staff wellbeing
