We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced GP Practice Manager to join our team, managing our two clinics at Aspley and Kangaroo Point.
The is a role that will keep you busy and challenged as you utilise your skill set. You will be joining a well-oiled team who are fun and good at what they do. You will be supported by a Reception Team Leader and a proactive Director/Principal GP.
Your duties across both clinics
Human Resource Management
· End to end recruitment
· Induction and training of staff
· Personnel management
· Management and supervision of administration and nursing
· Conduct training needs analysis bi-annually to monitor professional training and development of all employees
· Development, implementation and delivery of performance appraisals including counselling and disciplinary measures
· Management of workers compensation and return to work programs
· OH&S
· Development, implementation and maintenance of all HR policies & procedures
· Participate in continuing education by attending conferences and seminars
· Maintain current knowledge of government legislation and award conditions
Administration Management
· Set the protocols for customer service delivery
· Monitor and act upon customer service feedback (via annual survey)
· Development, production and maintenance of the Practice Manual
· Preparation and presentation of reports
· Chair management and staff meetings
· Preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes
· Maintenance of insurance cover for the practice including professional indemnity and workers compensation
· Maintaining accreditation
· Complaints resolution – patients and staff
Financial Management
· Maintain all financial and statistical records using Xero
· Liaise with the company accountant as required
· Administration of financial matters such as invoicing and payroll
· Download quarterly BAS reports for the accountant
· Lodge superannuation
Marketing Management
· Make recommendations on the practice image, internal and external marketing requirements
· Liaise with external marketing team re marketing initiatives and approve all creatives
· Liaise with external marketing team to maintain the company web sites
· Ensure adequate customer information brochures and journals are available for educational purposes
Facilities Management
· Liaise with IT team re the management and maintenance of computer software and hardware including licences
· Purchase and maintenance of practice equipment
· Maintenance of practice and office environments
· Liaison with Property Manager as required
What we need from you
. Qualifications as a registered nurse would be highly desirable
. A minimum of three years' experience as a GP Practice Manager
. Management qualifications are desirable
. It is essential you are a people person who has exceptional communication skills
. You must be able to multitask at a high level as you have two clinics to oversee
