Sandgate Doctors is a well-established, patient-focused general practice committed to providing high-quality care to the local community. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to lead our practice team and oversea the day to day operations of our busy clinic.

About the Role:

As the Practice Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the practice. You will work closely with the Practice owner, clinical and administrative team to foster a positive workplace culture and deliver exceptional service to our patients.

Experience as a Practice Manager in a General Practice environment is essential and knowledge of Best Practice will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice

Lead and support administrative and clinical staff

Manage HR functions including recruitment, rostering, and performance management

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accreditation standards, and quality improvement activities

Liaise with external stakeholders, including Medicare and Primary Health Networks

Implement and maintain practice policies, procedures, and systems

About You:

Previous experience in medical practice management is essential (general practice preferred)

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Proficiency in medical software (Best Practice or similar preferred)

Knowledge of Medicare billing, MBS, and compliance requirements

A passion for delivering high standards of patient care and staff engagement
