An opportunity has become available for a part-time Medical Receptionist within an established Neurosurgical practice located in the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally

Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments and confirm bookings

Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records

Coordinate with medical staff and ensure smooth front-desk operations

Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with standards

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Medical Secretary/Receptionist, preferably in a specialist practice

Prior surgical administration experience is highly advantageous including booking of surgeries

Exceptional customer service skills with a patient care focus

Ability to communicate effectively with patients and show compassion

Demonstrate an ability to prioritise, organise and multitask

Quick to learn and able to use your initiative

Working as an integral part of our team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, even under pressure

Be solution focused

Experience with Genie software program is preferable
