Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Medical Receptionist and become an integral part of our patient-focused healthcare environment. As the face of our clinic, the Medical Receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every patient's experience is positive and seamless.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet patients, providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
Schedule appointments, manage the appointment calendar
Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry and stock orders
Verify patient information and obtain necessary approvals
Create invoices, accurately record transactions, and reconcile daily payments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area, doctors offices and ensure a welcoming and professional environment
Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues as needed
Collaborate effectively with medical staff, administrative team members, and other departments to ensure efficient clinic operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar customer service role preferred
Proficiency in computer skills and experience with Clinic to Cloud an advantage
Proactive problem solving
Must have attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
Required hours 9.00am-5.00pm three days per week Mon/Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs,/Fri.
