We are seeking a friendly, organised and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team of doctors and nurses at our modern medical centre located in the heart of Brisbane City at MacArthur Central.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a clean, supportive environment with a strong focus on quality patients care.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from arrival to departure. Your role will include:

Greeting patients with a warm and professional manner

Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings

Diary management and coordinating with doctors and nurses

Processing mixed billing, Medicare, and third-party claims

Using Medical Director & Pracsoft software (training available)

General administrative duties including patient records management

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who is:

✔ Experienced in medical reception (preferred) but we are happy to train the right person who is eager to learn

✔ Knowledgeable in billing procedures (Medicare, private & third-party billing)

✔ Proficient with computers, ideally with exposure to Medical Director/Pracsoft, and Microsoft Word

✔ Highly organised with great attention to detail

✔ Professional in communication, with excellent phone manner and people skills

✔ Interested in healthcare and passionate about helping people

✔ A team player who is reliable, adaptable, and willing to grow within a rapidly expanding clinic
