About the role

Curatius Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team in Everton Park, QLD. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our very busy medical specialists. This is a crucial role that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our doctors' operations and the satisfaction of their patients.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients when they arrive at the practice

Answering inbound calls and responding to patient inquiries

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Assisting with billing and payment processing

Running clinics

Providing general administrative support such as emailing, scanning, faxing, filing and typing

Liaising with our specialist practitioners and other healthcare providers

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is desirable or have experience in a similar customer service administrative role

Reliability and flexibility with working hours

Exceptional attention to detail

A problem solver with a strong work ethic

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with patients, doctors and staff in a professional manner

Compassion and patience dealing with geriatric patients

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Proficiency in standard office software, experience with medical software not required but desirable

Competent typing skills

A positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude; able to work in a team with direction and autonomously

Ability to thrive under pressure to manage a busy front desk with efficiency

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality client and patient care
