We are a National and long-established sales and distribution company to the manufacturing sector with our head office based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With our top quality and vast range of products, we are proud to be the go-to in the industry.

About the role

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills to answer customer enquiries, process daily orders, collaborate successfully with our other departments and perform general office duties. All product training will be provided but an intermediate level of computer proficiency (MS Office) and a friendly can-do attitude is required.

Key Responsibilities

To provide professional, efficient and friendly customer service via phone and/or email.

Processing daily orders, handling inquiries, and addressing customer concerns in a timely manner.

Arranging prompt delivery of customer orders.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and procedures.

What we are looking for

A positive, proactive, customer-focused and a can-do attitude.

Proven experience in a customer service or administrative support role, preferably within a sales or client-facing environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail with the ability to accurately input sales order data.

The ability to prioritise effectively.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Knowledge of ABM software would be highly regarded but is not essential.

The ability to work in a small team environment.

Someone who will play a key role in the overall success of the business.
