The role:
Joining a national team of customer service and internal sales representatives, this role supports commercial and industrial projects across Australia. In the role, you will:

• Attend to all customer enquiries (phone and email) and provide exceptional service to existing and new customers
• Manage the sales inbox and update all enquiries in the NetSuite CRM system
• Key in and process sales orders and provide delivery information to the customer
• Create sales quotes for customers and provide product information when required
• Schedule calls and emails to follow-up on quotes and new business opportunities
• Update and maintain customer details and key contacts in the CRM system
• Process credit card payments and arrange for orders to be delivered or picked up by the customer
• Track and review quotes and conversion rates to identify future new business opportunities
• Update customers on ETAs of deliveries
• Assist with the HubSpot Conversation Inbox to ensure all online enquiries are dealt with promptly
• Handle customer complaints and work with the manager to resolve any issues

The requirements:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven customer service and internal sales experience assisting commercial or business customers, face-to-face or over the phone, preferably in the building and construction industry
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new skills and grasp technical products
• Team player who thrives in a sales and service environment
• The ability to read drawings and complete take-offs will be highly regarded
• Basic to intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
