Our client, Riverina Oils is a state of the art fully integrated oilseed crushing and refining plant, strategically located in the agricultural hub of the Riverina in NSW.

About the Role

The full time Warehouse Manager role reports directly to the GM Operations. With a strong culture of support and mentorship, you will have the backing of senior leaders to drive and implement positive change across the warehouse and associated facilities.

Located at our client’s facility in Wagga Wagga, the Warehouse Manager manages a team of 6. As such, your proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team will be key to your success.

The core responsibilities of this role are:

Ensure the Safe, Compliant and Efficient receival, delivery and shipping of all materials and supplies to company sites, production and Riverina Oils customers

Manage the maintenance, sourcing and servicing of all vehicles

Implement and imbed systems, processes, procedures and practices that are:

Fit for purpose

Able to be measured to provide key data that ensures the warehouse continues to meet & exceed Safety & Efficiency standards

Ensures the Warehouse ‘Housekeeping’ consistently meets ‘Best Practice’ standards of cleanliness, and tidiness as well as being logical and commonsense in it’s approach

Uses technology to improve the repeatability, reliability and efficiency of processes.

The role will give you the scope to contribute at a practical level to the running of the Warehouse within Riverina Oils. You will have a history of working with your team to understand challenges and opportunities in order to initiate change in your role.

Skills and experience

We are looking for a Warehouse professional with previous experience in the Grain or Heavy Manufacturing industry. Outside of these industries, the successful candidate will be able to show their ability to leverage broad Warehouse experience cross functionally.

Your energy and passion for continuous improvement, creating a real sense of team and a focus on safety will be key to your success in this role.

Essential

Tech Savvy. A high level of computer literacy

Detailed knowledge and experience in Rostering Techniques, Planning and Scheduling

Detailed knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems. Has worked with ERP Systems previously

Heavy machinery experience. Loader, earthmoving, farming equipment.

At least 5yrs experience in a Warehouse Manager Role

Preferred

Experience in the Seed or Grain Industry

Worked with Silo’s, Meal Sheds and Tanks.

Grain crushing experience
