About the Role
Based in our Cannonvale Office we are looking to fill a Part-Time position in Customer Service & Sales Support. This role would be Monday to Friday working within school hours, ideally between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (at a minimum) however we are flexible with hours and shift times for the right candidate.
Be the face of the company for all walk-ins, greeting customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanour while providing day-to-day broader administrative support to our local sales area managers while they are on the road.
The main things that you would be doing include:
Customer Service
Answer phones promptly delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with queries and ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
Uphold our customer service values ensuring positive face-to-face interactions.
Process payments via EFTPOS/Cash/Cheques with accuracy and attention to detail, receipt payments in the system.
Monitor the orders and customer service inbox, responding promptly and effectively to inquiries and requests to uphold service excellence.
Sales Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to local sales area managers (Airlie Beach, Mackay, Collinsville and Bowen) to facilitate efficient and effective communications, customer credits, orders and ad hoc tasks.
Efficiently resolve out-of-stock and back-order issues within one hour by collaborating with operations and local sales representatives.
Proactively address 90% of challenges by offering suitable product substitutions and promptly advising local customers on their options.
Maintain and update working orders, sales and purchasing spreadsheet ensuring accuracy and seamless order fulfillment.
Check Mail and Deposit Banking twice a week, assist with ad hoc grocery store runs.
About You
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Exceptional time management skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office most notably Outlook and Excel.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and agreed deliverables.
Present yourself in a professional and respectable manner.
Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients.
Highly motivated and target driven with a willingness to learn and improve.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and phone manner.
Preferred (not essential) skills and experience:
Sound knowledge of the region.
A background in the food/hospitality industry.
Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Advanced IT skills (Excel and exposure to ERP systems).
