GLOW is a private contemporary, multidisciplinary clinic supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of women, their infants and families – from preconception to Grade 6.

We were established out of genuine passion coupled with the identification of a real community need, which has driven GLOW’s unique service, philosophy and model of care.

At GLOW, we offer a wide range of services including Paediatrics, Child/Infant Psychology, Perinatal Psychology, Perinatal Psychiatry and Yoga, from three sites at Berwick, Frankston and Malvern. With us, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team that cares about each other as well as our clients.

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Practice Manager to join and lead a small cohesive team in an innovative clinic conveniently located in Berwick.

In this role, you will work closely with GLOW's two Directors to lead the Clinic, drive growth and innovation while managing the reception team and supporting clinical practitioners to provide excellent, collaborative, holistic services.

The position will involve 50 - 60 hours/fortnight across 3-5 days, between the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We have flexibility to work with you to establish mutually agreeable hours. The position is available to commence from mid June.

What you'll do

As the Practice Manager working closely with GLOW's two Directors you will:

Manage all aspects of the practice and office operations

Manage the reception and administration team (rosters, leave, pay runs)

Be first point of contact for 10+ clinical and wellness practitioners

Prepare timely business reports including financial and practice performance reports

Ensure Clinic Key Performance Indicators are met

Problem Solve emergent barriers impacting efficient practice and growth

Drive clinic growth and development

Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience of at least 2 years in effective management of a multidisciplinary practice

A track record for driving practice growth

Demonstrated initiative and creative problem solving

High proficiency in the front desk and back end use of medical practice software - Xestro desirable

Skills in electronic medical billing and knowledge of Medicare (easy claim system)

Advanced computer skills – paperless practice and Microsoft Excel

Highly developed organisational, time management and delegation skills

Excellent communication skills –staff, practitioners and Directors

Working with Children Check

Desirable:

Experience managing a mental health or paediatric practice.

Formal qualification in Health Administration or Practice management.
