Job Title: Business Development Manager – Cost Consulting
Location: Homebush, NSW (Onsite – 5 days a week)
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: Negotiable based on experience + superannuation
Eligibility: Must be a Permanent Resident residing in Sydney

About the Role
DUOQS are Quantity Surveyors and Construction Estimators who deliver a high level of commitment, quality, and passion, and are known for their energy in the industry. We're searching for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our construction sales team.
Whether you're a recent graduate or just beginning your professional journey with a passion for construction and sales, or you may be tradie wanting to get off the tools, this is a great opportunity to enter a technical, fast-growing field with mentorship and support. All training shall be given to the right candidate.
You’ll work closely with pre-construction professionals and cost consultants to support client relationships, uncover new opportunities, and help grow our pipeline of work. No two days will be the same – you’ll learn the fundamentals of cost estimation and play a key role in connecting clients to the solutions they need.
Responsibilities
Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and engage potential clients. These events may take place outside standard business hours, including early mornings and evenings. Attendance at these events is considered an essential part of the role and is mandatory.
Cold calling required – reaching out to potential customers in the building industry to introduce our cost construction services and drive growth.
Act as a point of contact between our potential customers and internal technical teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery

Skills and Qualifications
Experience in customer and business networking (preferred)
