About the role
We're looking for a self driven, passionate and personable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help realise our vision. You'll play a critical role in primarily identifying and engaging hospitals (and occasionally other healthcare service providers) who would benefit from our software solutions – initially setting the stage for our business development team to take things forward but with the longer term goal of greater involvement in the sales process.
This is a full time, remote-working role requiring flexibility to occasionally accommodate overseas timezones, but a Sydney timezone schedule will be more typical.
You’ll work closely with our business development team to fuel our sales pipeline and support the broader execution of our sales and marketing strategy.
A day in the life of the SDR
You are the friendly face of EpiSoft for prospective customers and will perform professional, thoughtful outreach to both private and public hospitals in Australia and in select overseas markets.
Reporting to our business development manager, you will:
Research, identify and contact prospective customers based on target criteria
Facilitate a warm and professional handoff of qualified leads to the business development team
Contribute feedback from the frontline to help shape marketing campaigns and sales strategies
Grow in autonomy, initiative and insight as you develop your understanding of, and involvement in, the full sales cycle and the changing needs of hospitals
As part of our small and nimble customer success team, you will enjoy taking initiative, working autonomously and critically evaluating a way of doing things to manage the many and varied customer demands.
About You
Are you:
An outstanding all-rounder with at least 2 years' customer facing experience?
Comfortable sending cold emails and phoning busy healthcare professionals?
A keen interest in digital health and improving patient care through technology?
Keen to build your sales and marketing skills in a supported, flexible environment?

Other Mandatory Criteria
Australian permanent resident/citizen or New Zealand citizen
Must be able to work independently and remotely
Flexible work requirement to accommodate occasional calls in overseas timezones but with a grounding in the Sydney timezone
Highly IT-savvy and exceptional desire to embrace software innovations and a better way of doing things
Self-driven and motivated to get the job done and exceed customer expectations
Exceptional communication skills & strong work ethic
