Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team. The BDR will play a pivotal role in identifying and qualifying potential clients for our advisory services. While experience and qualifications are important, we believe that a driven salesperson who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and engage with clients is the most important factor in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, databases, and internal leads.
Initial Contact: Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and other communication platforms to gather initial information and assess interest in AVA Advisory’s services.
Qualification: Evaluate the needs and financial situation of potential clients to determine their suitability for our services, including understanding their business challenges, financial health, and goals.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in our CRM system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and complete.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and advisory teams to transfer qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handoff through the sales pipeline.
Feedback: Provide feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads generated from different sources to help refine and improve lead generation strategies.
Reporting: Regularly report on lead qualification metrics, including the number of leads generated, qualified, and passed on to the sales team.
Qualifications:
A driven sales personality with a strong desire to pick up the phone and engage with potential clients is a must.
Experience in a lead generation or sales support role, preferably (but not limited to) in the financial advisory or professional services industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong research and analytical abilities.
Familiarity with CRM software and lead management processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with potential clients and team members.
Analytical Thinking: Proficient in analysing business information and assessing potential client needs.
Organisation: Excellent organisational skills to manage and track multiple leads simultaneously.

Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with our sales and advisory teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding process.
