We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to help shape the next chapter in Sydney’s culinary scene.
About the Role
As a key member of Rovollo’s opening kitchen team, you’ll help lay the foundations of our food identity. Working alongside an ambitious culinary brigade and visionary Head Chef, you’ll be instrumental in delivering dishes that showcase our passion for Italian tradition with contemporary flair.
This is a rare opportunity to grow with a venue from day one, contribute your ideas, and help establish new standards of excellence in a brand-new kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standard using premium, seasonal ingredients
Assisting in the launch of a new menu and helping refine it through feedback and collaboration
Helping establish kitchen systems, organisation, and prep routines
Upholding exceptional food safety and hygiene practices
Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Collaborating closely with front-of-house during service to ensure smooth, memorable guest experiences
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-driven kitchen
A passion for Italian food and modern presentation techniques
Strong organisational skills, with a cool head under pressure—especially during a restaurant launch
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
A team player with excellent communication skills
Culinary qualifications or formal training (highly regarded)
