The Role:
We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie or Sous Chef — to join our kitchen team at Gather. You’ll contribute to creating high-quality dishes, from club classics to innovative menus, serving our diverse clientele with flair and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality

Collaborate with the team to develop and execute seasonal and event-driven menus

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen in line with food safety regulations

Support inventory management and cost control to align with operational goals

Deliver exceptional dining experiences for club members and guests

What We’re Looking For:

Experience at as a Chef De Parite or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen (hospitality or club experience a plus)

Passion for culinary creativity and commitment to quality

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to busy service periods

Strong team player with effective communication skills

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert III in Commercial Cookery) preferred but not essential for entry-level roles

Knowledge of Australian food safety standards and cost management practices
