About us
Over the past 16 years Hugos Manly has won numerous industry awards for both our food & bar. Most recently we've been awarded Best Pizza Restaurant Australia in the Restaurant & Catering Awards 2024. Due to popular demand, we're starting to get ready to extend our trading days from 6 per week to 7.
Applicants will have a genuine passion for the food industry & a drive to consistently produce the best possible dishes. Having established long standing valued relationships with Sydney's top suppliers over the years, we use only the freshest & highest quality ingredients. We have worked hard to create & maintain a great working environment. Our kitchen team is led by Executive Chefs Tal Amiray & Bob Mellor. It’s their job to make sure you work hard, you’re motivated and you’re happy.
We require minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Partie working in a high volume & fast paced restaurant of a similar calibre. We operate at capacity lunch & dinner 6 days per week, moving to 7 days once we get the team in place & we also start works to extend our outdoor seating next month. Qualifications & experience
Minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Partie or above in a high volume, high quality venue

Tasks & responsibilities
Assist Executive, Head & Sous Chefs in the day to day kitchen operations. Stock, quality & hygiene control, prep & food service (lunch & dinner). Oversee, mentor & train newer Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs, Cooks & Apprentices. Ensure workplace safety, health & hygiene standards are maintained, develop & update industry knowledge, report rostering queries & requirements to Executive Chefs, maintain high Hugos standards, strive to exceed guest expectations.
