About the role

As the Senior Chef de Partie at the Emu Sports Club, you will play a key role in the kitchen, overseeing a team of dedicated chefs and ensuring the smooth running of all food operations. This full-time role is based in Leonay, NSW, and you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the work of the Chef de Partie team, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation and service

Develop and implement new menu items, incorporating feedback from customers and following food trends

Oversee the procurement and inventory of all kitchen supplies and ingredients

Maintain strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment in the kitchen

Provide training and mentorship to less experienced chefs

Assist the Head Chef in managing the overall kitchen operations

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment

Must have Formal culinary training qualification in Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks and demands

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations

Passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes that delight customers
