About the Company
An exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, design-led property developer delivering landmark residential and mixed-use projects across Sydney. With a multibillion-dollar pipeline, this is a pivotal leadership role suited to an experienced Senior Development Manager seeking end-to-end project ownership.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, strategic role managing high-profile developments from acquisition through to handover. You’ll lead project teams, oversee planning and design, drive financial performance, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Culture
- Mentor Development Managers and junior team members.
- Support operational improvements and process implementation.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
Acquisitions & Feasibility
- Conduct due diligence and structure transactions.
- Develop detailed project feasibilities (Estate Master DM or equivalent).
- Prepare board-level investment documentation.
Design & Delivery
- Lead consultant teams through design, planning, and documentation.
- Manage planning approvals and authority engagement (DA/SSDA).
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and project financial performance.
- Oversee procurement and construction delivery collaboration.
Sales, Marketing & Leasing
- Oversee project sales and leasing strategies.
- Manage purchaser variations and commercial fit-outs.
- Contribute to product development and brand alignment.
Settlements & Handover
- Ensure certification, registration, and compliance readiness.
- Manage purchaser and financier relationships through settlement.
- Oversee quality control, defect management, and customer experience.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain project documentation and reporting dashboards.
- Provide strategic updates to senior leadership.
- Support broader team initiatives and business priorities.
What You'll Bring:
- 7–10+ years of development experience across residential and/or mixed-use projects.
- Proven track record managing projects through the full lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of NSW planning systems and feasibility tools (Estate Master DM).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Planning, Architecture, or Construction.
- Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive commercial outcomes.
