About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Development Manager to join this reputable team. Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, your primary focus will be managing the DA and CC phases of apartment projects ranging from 20 to 200 units.
This is a pure development role — there is no acquisition or negotiation responsibility. You will manage the front-end processes, approvals, and consultant coordination, ensuring projects are ready for seamless transition into construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage DA coordination, preparation, and lodgement processes for multi-unit residential apartment projects.
• Coordinate and attend pre-lodgement meetings with local councils and authorities.
• Facilitate early-stage CC works with internal design and construction teams.
• Engage and manage consultant teams throughout design and approvals.
• Build strong working relationships with local councils, planning bodies, and other government authorities.
• Assist with feasibility assessments and due diligence where required.
• Drive project outcomes from initiation through to OC, handover, and settlement.
• Identify cost efficiencies and value-add opportunities at all stages of the development process.

About You
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Development Manager or Client-Side Project Manager with exposure to residential apartments. You have experience managing DAs and CCs on medium to large apartment projects 20 units plus. Salary is circa $120,000 - $160,000 + Super negotiable for the right candidate. Strong ability to adapt and overcome challenges, and communication clearly with stakeholders.
