The role

At Workers Doctors', we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in our Parramatta, NSW location. As a full-time Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical professionals and ensuring the smooth running of our healthcare practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and checking in patients, managing patient records and documentation

Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies

Assisting doctors with assessments

Scheduling appointments, managing the physician's calendar, and handling patient inquiries

Adhering to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a healthcare setting

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, doctors, and other staff

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously

Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other medical software

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to provide high-quality patient care

A caring, empathetic, and professional demeanour towards patients
