Leader in their field currently experiencing a strong growth phase. Working with some of Australia’s largest sporting venues, theatres and performing arts centres across the entertainment space, they are now seeking a hands on and detail orientated Accounts Officer to join them immediately in an ongoing contract role.

For You:

• $50 p/hr + Super
• Monday to Friday long term role
• 8 hour days with flexible start and finish times
• Possibility to transition to a Permanent employee with Annual Salary of $80,000 + Super
• Free onsite Parking
• Greenacre Location
• Bus stop located right outside the front door!

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing up to 75 payable invoices per week using Access Definitive
• Ensure accurate and timely payment processing
• Reconcile payroll and accounts payable records
• Generate, validate, and distribute invoices for customers across multiple countries.
• Weekly payroll preparation using Micropay for 80 staff
• Assist with with preparation of superannuation, tax, and entitlements
• Assist with rostering, timesheets, leave, back pay, and termination payments
• Assist with the interpretation of Industry Awards and related compliance obligations
• Build procedure documents relating to the payroll system with the Finance Manager
• Prepare supporting documentation for invoices to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Reconcile business expenses and maintain complete documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting on accounts payable balances.

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in finance is advantageous
• Proven Accounts Payable experience working in a full function position
• Experience managing payroll processing for up to 80 staff on a weekly basis
• Experience working with Micropay or Project Stream advantageous
• Experience working with Access Definitive is advantageous
• Intermediate Excel skills with a high attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Experience having worked in an industrial or manufacturing environment in previous roles
• Working in a project based business is highly advantageous
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Outstanding communication skills on both a verbal and written level
