Swissôtel Sydney is a luxury 5-star hotel located in the heart of Sydney's business, retail and entertainment district. The hotel has recently undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment and includes one of Sydney’s most sought after bars, stunning rooftop outdoor pool and heritage-listed ballroom and function room. The hotel boasts 369 spacious, beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites offering contemporary facilities for the modern business or leisure traveller.

We are currently searching for a Full Time Finance Officer for AP and Payroll (90% AP, 10% Payroll mainly in assisting capacity)

About The Role:

Ensure that trading terms of all the suppliers are respected by the hotel, and payments are processed accurately and timely.

Monitor financial systems including Sun & Purchase Plus for the Hotel with a view to improve and streamline procedures.

Assist with the accurate and timely payment of creditor accounts

Assist with the weekly payroll for the Hotel in accordance with the payroll procedure.

About You:

Qualification in Accounting or Finance and/or previous experience in a hotel environment will be viewed favourably

Strong communication skills and outstanding eye for detail

Proficient computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)

Knowledge and efficiency in Purchase Plus and Sun Systems are advantageous

Full Time work right in Australia

Able to work onsite 5 days/week

Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with Purchase Plus and Sun Systems are not mandatory but will be advantageous
