The Role

Trucksmart is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in Beresfield, NSW on a part-time basis. As the Accounts Officer - Office All Rounder, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial records and providing administrative support across various functions within our organisation. The business is going through a growth stage and with this in mind the position could become full-time in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash

Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims

Knowledge of and support payroll processing and employee reimbursements

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry and answering phone enquiries

Assist with the month-end close process and the preparation of financial reports

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties as required

Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of office operations

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role

Proficiency in accounting software

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Good time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or equivalent) is desirable

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks
