Looking for your next step at the intersection of strategy and execution? We’re seeking a dynamic, highly organized Business Operations Lead (Asia) to be the operational backbone for a high-performing Commercial Operating Unit across the region. This high-impact role blends strategic execution, operational excellence, and executive support in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

You’ll act as a trusted partner and extension of the Regional Leader and leadership team—commanding calendars, streamlining workflows, and driving clarity across priorities. From shielding leadership time and coordinating complex logistics to ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives, you’ll amplify impact with precision and discretion. You’ll also leverage modern AI and productivity tools to scale outcomes across Asia.

Contract: up to 30th June 2026 (intention to extend)
Rate: up to $730/day plus super
Location: North Sydney - Hybrid role 3 days onsite.

Team size: 55 (50 in sales roles)

What you’ll do

Executive Support

Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones; align time to strategic priorities

Coordinate Rhythm of Business cadence (leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, checkpoints)

Streamline agendas, outcomes, and action tracking using Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Planner, Copilot, Power BI)

Triage inboxes, draft responses, and resolve time-sensitive items promptly

Preparation & Execution

Own meeting and deliverable preparation; organise materials, align inputs, ensure clarity in advance

Partner cross-functionally to prepare leadership for internal/external engagements

Capture and synthesise actions; drive accountability and follow-through across teams

Travel & Onsite Logistics

Manage end-to-end travel (flights, accommodation, frictionless itineraries)

Coordinate external meetings and leadership offsites (catering, rooms, diary alignment)

Travel as needed to key engagements; oversee onsite logistics for smooth execution

Systems & Operations

Build/refine workflows that drive clarity, efficiency, and seamless execution

Manage expenses and reimbursements with speed and accuracy

Champion digital automation and AI-driven collaboration (Copilot, Power Automate)

Communication & Cultural Alignment

Act as a communication bridge across Japan, Korea, China, India, and Australia

Draft, edit, and review executive communications, presentations, and reports with cultural sensitivity

Maintain Teams channels and follow-up systems to track and close leadership asks

What you’ll bring

5–8 years in executive support, business operations, or chief of staff roles within a multinational

Proven ability to manage complex calendars, events, and budgets at pace

Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse cultures

Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to champion AI-driven tools (Copilot, Power Automate)

Anticipates needs, clears obstacles, executes with a proactive growth mindset

Calm under pressure; thrives in ambiguity; pivots seamlessly as priorities shift

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Top hard skills

Strong EA and operations experience

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Managing multiple stakeholders

Familiarity with MS tools

50% Executive Assistant, 50% Business Operations Management

Support a fast-paced sales organization; uphold operational excellence for leadership and team activities

Manage business cadence activities, prepare newsletters, coordinate team meetings, and run event logistics

Drive scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and smooth execution of team processes
