About the role

Sestra People Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying process improvements, and providing strategic recommendations to drive the success of our client's technology initiatives. The position is based in our Sydney office, with the opportunity for a flexible work arrangement.

What you'll be doing

Liaise with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements and user needs

Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications

Identify and document process improvements and optimisation opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions

Develop and maintain business analysis artefacts such as use cases, user stories, and data models

Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to project teams

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Information & Communication Technology industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools

Experience working with Agile software development frameworks

Tertiary qualification in Business, IT or a related field
