About the role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Malvern Road Family Medical Centre in Glen Iris, VIC. This part-time role is crucial in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Handling incoming phone calls, emails and inquiries.

Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and inventory management

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role preferred but not essential as training to be provided

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

A friendly, professional and empathetic approach to patient care

Availability to work part-time hours, no weekends.
