We are seeking an experienced, motivated Medical Receptionist with a warm, friendly manner to join our front office team in providing high-level, patient focused care. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive and efficient experience.

Part time, permanent position.
18.5 Hours per week.

Tuesday 9am - 6pm

Thursday 1pm - 6pm or 9am - 2pm (rotational)

Friday 9am - 2pm

Free onsite parking.
Quality specialist practice with supportive Staff & Specialists.

Responsibilities include:

Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries via email and fax.
Scheduling appointments and managing patient referrals.
Processing payments including Medicare, private and surgery billings.
Scanning and data input into Zedmed software.
Daily banking and reconciliation at the end of clinic.
Surgical bookings including interacting with theaters and patients.
Providing administrative support as requested.

The ideal candidate:

Experience with Zedmed software ( preferred)

Reliable and trustworthy*

Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, use initiative and follow through on tasks.

Clear communicator and a friendly demeanor.

Punctual and passionate about helping people

Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn.

Essential requirement - Previous experience in a Medical practice ( min 2 years).
