Our medical practice is looking for a new part-time medical receptionist who is a happy and caring person to join our expanding reception team, with the ability to also cover holidays and sick days.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional care of patients and being a people person is the number one criteria for this position.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone.

Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.

Processing payments, Medicare, and third-party claims

Effective management of patient appointments

General administration and office duties

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Previous Medical Reception experience highly regarded.

Medical software knowledge

Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner

High work ethic

Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

High level of attention to detail

Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information

It also a requirement to be up to date with your Covid-19 Vaccines.
