Key Responsibilities
KYC & Compliance Management
Oversee and manage the end-to-end KYC and AML processes for new and existing clients.
Ensure all client documentation meets internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits of client files to maintain compliance with industry standards.
Liaise with the compliance team and regulators to address any KYC-related queries or updates.
Operational Oversight
Supervise day-to-day back-office operations, including data management, account administration, and transaction processing.
Implement and maintain efficient workflows to improve accuracy and turnaround times.
Coordinate with front-office and compliance teams to resolve client or system issues promptly.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare regular reports on KYC status, pending verifications, and compliance exceptions.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure data integrity across systems.
Support internal and external audits with timely provision of required documentation.
Key Requirements
3-5 years’ experience in back-office operations, compliance, or KYC management within financial services (banking, investment, or wealth management preferred).
Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations, KYC frameworks, and relevant regulatory requirements (AUSTRAC, ASIC, etc.).
Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and KYC/AML verification platforms.
Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
