ROLE EXPECTATIONS:
This role is pivotal to expanding our footprint across Victoria’s thriving HVAC market. As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of builders, architects, tradies, and end users across the Eastern Suburbs
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within residential and light commercial projects
- Deliver expert knowledge of HVAC systems and solutions to guide clients through the product selection and installation process
- Provide exceptional service and after-sales support, building trust and ensuring repeat business
- Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, tech support, and product development to deliver tailored solutions
- Stay ahead of industry developments, compliance changes, and emerging HVAC technologies
- Represent the business with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach at all times
CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS:
We’re looking for a motivated sales professional with a background in HVAC, building products, or trade supply, and a passion for working with the construction industry.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development within HVAC, construction, or a related trade-based industry
- Strong knowledge of the residential and light commercial building sectors, ideally within Victoria
- Established networks or the ability to quickly build rapport with builders, architects, and contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in long-term partnerships
- A proactive, consultative sales style with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Competency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and quoting platforms
- A current driver’s licence (essential)
